Raider has easy access to Frenzy charge generation, so the question is answered, but it's seemingly tougher to account for the mana cost of Flicker Strike, and still has to avoid phys/ele refl and cannot leech.Trickster has access to Weave the Arcane for no issues with mana, but the skill tree starts considerably far away from the melee nodes I want to use the scale damage up.Each ascendancy has their own issue with the build.Since this does mostly fire damage I'd have to gear my entire build around essentially that, fire damage, and this does low phys to start off with so there isn't much to scale off of phys. A lot more restrictive on damage gearing.GGG has consistently made dual wielding 1h melees stronger than 2H weapons, and with the upcoming nerfs to Elder-influenced 2h melees getting a cheap 6-8L will be impossible. 35% mana reservation isn't exactly ideal for a Flicker Strike build when there are more auras out there that can carry this build into endgame. Oh yeah there's also trickster which makes your flicker free, but I've never had trouble maintaining it's cost after I got enough damage. If you don't care for it then all the options mentioned previously will have some degree of success. Over leech is locked behind bleed immunity for slayer so if you want it you'll have to take ascendant slayer which can't take reflected phys but can take reflected bleed. Bleed sources can be crafted on weapons with leo, the maraketh foil has bleed implicit, haemophilia gloves, from the tree if you're close or from gladiator (or deadeye if you're feeling super masochistic).

For both of these you then have the choice of crit or eleoverload, I'd probably only go crit on a rare sword. Again for something more unique you could do something like kongor's undying rage. You can also go the 99% conversion route with something like a high phys corsair, oni or disfavour (has bleed chance built in). I'd personally lean towards slayer because I like the over leech mechanic as it's a very strong defence mechanic for flicker.įor red trail you can go flat ele with high aps as a delivery method, this could take the form of a foil with the shaper dex mod, or just high ele, for something more hipster you could go debeons or hyaon's. I think that flicker has some really nice options this league, for something cookie cutter you could go oro's with slayer, champion, chieftain, jugg, ascendant or raider or t-est with most of those options plus assassin.
